THE EIGHTEENTH CENTURY ROOMS AND
THE ART COLLECTIONS

In a phase immediately following the purchase of the building (1781) by the Marquis Uguccione III Bourbon di Sorbello, the rooms on the first floor, or floor, were subjected to an important renovation of the decorative system, recognizable above all in the frescoes that decorate the vaults of each room.

In these rooms, once the apartments of the family members, today pieces of great value from the Bourbon di Sorbello art collections are exhibited: from the picture gallery to the engravings, from the Italian and Chinese porcelains to the embroidery works made by the workers of the “Scuola Ranieri di Sorbello embroidery ”.
