The room is dedicated to the Marquis Ugolino III Bourbon di Sorbello (1745-1809).
Educated at the Royal Academy of Turin, he reached the rank of major in the Savoy army. Passionate reader of comedies and plays, he mainly collected porcelain and prints. He put a lot of energy into purchasing an impressive Ginori table set, decorated with purple landscapes. Collected in three years between 1793 to 1796, he commissioned it personally to the Florentine manufacture. The service reached the exorbitant number of over four hundred pieces and is partly exhibited in this room.
